Hey guys, I wrote a blog post about recording drums on my studio website. I want to help out bands who record themselves, be it demos or proper albums.

By any chance, do you guys know any good plugins for pro tools I can use to tune drums...ever program I have pitches them correctly but completely ruins the origonal rhythem. any ideas?

What's the best way to tune rock drums, is a specific tone pattern between toms necessary?, what tone should the tom's top and the bottom heads have?

how do you come up with the correct pitch for each drum?

basically i have been working the head until the sound "comes together". I'm new to REALLY tuning drums and would like to get better. ive read all the basics of tuning. when i finish with a head, they tend to [what i think] be pretty tight and high pitched for the sizes. [13x12/14x13/16x16 toms and 14x4 snare, 22x16 kick]
