Hi People!
Well listen to some new pop produktions and I really ask my self why it sounds like that.
I got the feeling sometimes that the playback is extra mastered and the voice extra too.
Now why am I asking this may be stupid question? The voice is over everything. I mean really everything no matter what it happens and it doesn't sounds as if the were even together mixed.
Ist this possible? Does it make sense? I've heard that some people really do it.

You can master in stems, music and vocals seperate. That way you have control over each. the problem is that it will disconnect the music from the vocals and can sound unmusical or un natural. But if that's the effect you're going for, then it works doing it that way.
