Hey I have a home studio with a Pc and a SB Live 5.1
I've heard somewhere from someone that you can install 2 SB Live!s in the same machine and work with their 4 inputs simultaneously by installing some sort of cracked ASIO driver or something like that.
Any idea if this may work?
If this is possible: Where can I download the driver?
Thank You in advance

Yes, I know all that. The theorical stuff. I have Xperience with computers but maybe there's someone who knows how could it work. I have a MIRO Studio DC10 Plus but I use DC30 cracked drivers and it works perfectly, I can do everything that can be done with a DC 30 except for the sound interface. So...
Thank you

Unless you are using the unofficial, unsupported kx drivers, you cannot install more than one Creative card in a PC. Says so right on the Creative website; their drivers will not work with more than one card.
And if you try to use multiple cards like that, the little crystal clocks inside them are not sync'ed so your recordings can get off-time.
Best to save up some money and get a REAL multi-input card (they're not that expensive these days....)

You cannot as pointed out in windows run two sblive cards in the same machine. I have tried to run identical sound cards in windows and never succeeded unless they were different types, by that I mean they must be from different manufacturers. You can run two sperate types like SBLive and a pci 128 or a whole different brand of card in Linux together. also in either case you risk running timing problems in doing so.

You will most likely end up with IRQ confilts, and the whole thing will probably be pretty unstable. I would recommend getting a 4 channel interface instead.
