By "cheap", what do you mean? That old Altec gear can be very cool. Much better than the mic pres found on low cost mixers or cheap stand alone mic pres. Those have a barrier stip connection intended to be connected to a patch bay. You can simply make a "pigtails", a 3 conductor wire with an XLR on one end and spade lugs on the other. You will need at least two of these one for each input and one for the output. Good score! Kurt
