i have a terretac phase 88 card instaled in my pc. i had a soundblaster live 5.1 but for some reason when i had both cards in at once i coudn't recieve any audio. I would play a CD and the CD would play but i would have no audio. i took out the sounblaster and i could record onto a track with audio coming out of my reciever to my mixer to my pc but when i want to hear a play back i don't get any audio. the pci card has digital in and digital out. i'm running to a Yamaha 8 track which is a substitute for a real mixer and i run that into what is basically my home theater sound system. i know it's not the best way to do things but i get by. any tips besides buying new gear would be great.
