how does one change the pitch in Sonar 3 when tracking more than one vocal track to get a doubling sound... (not using chorus... I think it sounds imitative) thanx guys!

I havn't used sonar but i imagine that under one of the menu's at the top of the screen, possibly under "edit" or "audio" there should be an option to pitch shift, if all else fails, look under the "help" section. The saturation is best applied by a tube emulator plug-in 100% gain and 100% output
Double the track in sonar by copy and pasting it.......then proc
Double the track in sonar by copy and pasting it.......then process the new track with a pitch shifter. Shift the pitch from 5-11 cents. This should give you a nice thick vocal sound. Another trick I learned was instead of re pitching the second track add an ass load of saturation to it and then cut all the frequencies below, like 3k, and bring the volume up just enough (not to much) and you should here your vocals start to sizzle.
