Ok i don't need much i think, I have Drumkit From Hell a Guitar and Bass, an Amp a PC and i need to record and mix everything together into simple Mp3 files. Problem is I was told i need Audio interface that would run the audio out and audio in for my Pc in order to play over a drum track and not have it gradually sync out, which is what is happening with my Usb In and sound card out...

So I'm looking for suggestions for a good qualityprice external audio module thing (Usb, Firewire ? ) and a Mic sins i think those things work with Mic In.
Also any good editing andor recording software i should try cause i know very little in the recording department besides Audacity.

Thanks a bunch if you can help :)

"codemunkeh" added to bandwagon successfully.

Kristal is good software, better than Audacity for multi-tracking - and is free for non-commercial purposes.

Your amp's USB out is not ideal for recording anything.
If it works, though, great. We'll probably still be here when you want better quality.

if you are looking for a hard time, and assumptions about your moral fiber, by all means, hang out. if you want help getting started, you would be better served elsewhere.

I truly wish someone had told me this. It might have saved me months of being furious, along with several other people.

Moneyless,

I can't believe your other thread dragged on as long as it did either. I'd suggest you read your thread from the beginning, now that you have a month's perspective.

You got tons of good advice including jg49 on Page One of your thread: "If you were asking for advice about how to get in to home recording you got it but can't spend what around here might be considered the most minimal of investments. Good luck have fun."

I understand you don't have a lot of cash to spend. I understand you have computer limitations. If you had gotten a job mowing grass or shoveling snow (as the case may be) or part-time at the kwik-e-mart, you'd have a decent mic by now. Instead of wasting your time asking for advice you won't accept, find a part-time job. I can't speak for everyone here, but I worked my tail off for everyting I have today - and it started when I was 15. Nobody gave me anything and it was a whole lot harder to research anything pre-internet and pre-megastore catalogs.

You want to fly, but you can't afford a plane or even a plane ticket. We've been trying to keep you from jumping off the roof flapping your arms. At least save up for a parachute.

For the most part, everybody has been trying help.

Good luck!
