Guys: i have a projct made in a Mac Pro Tools and now I have the HD I brought from the studio after the mix and want to read the data at home in my PC. I use Windows 2k. Any ideas. A friend told me that maybe there is some kind of program that could help my problem.
Thanks in advance. eFe

The only thing you need to do is:

a) if it is a new session you are creating then check the "Enforce Mac to PC compatibility" checkbox that is in the dialog window you use to name the new session and set sample rates, etc.
b) if you have already started the session without enforcing compatibility (in other words using AIFF instead of BWAV) then you need to save a COPY of the session with all media and check the compatibility checkbox in that resulting dialog window.

Clear as mud?

Essentially, if your session is using BWAV then you are compatible. With Pro Tools, AIFF is for Macs only......

Good Luck!

Sorry that reply was REALLY vague......

You need to go back to the studio and pull those sessions back up on a Mac. Then, save copies of each session, with PC compatibility enforced, onto your hard drive. Take that home and your Pro Tools rig @ home should be happy!

Whew! Hope that was clearer!!!
