Hello everybody
I intend to use Nuendo PC DAW software.
I need a Digital Mixer to imput 16 mikes and instruments, convert analog imputs at 24 bit 48/96 khz and also command Nuendo Automation.
I am thinking about the new Tascam DM-24.
I need also to imput this into the PC DAW and someone of Tascam Germany told me to use Soundscape Mixtrem PCI Card.
What do you think about?

Best regards

Hi!
Sounds like it's worth a try!
The Mixtreme card is a great one. With it's 2 TDIF-connections it could probably do exactly what you want.
The Mixtreme comes with an excellent digital mixer-interface. You can customize it anyway you want.
I haven't tried the Mixtreme-automation though. I suppose it's possible to do what you want.
And maybe you should feed the Mixtreme with an Apogee AD-converter.

I don't know any other card that could do all those things you mentioned.
Anthother great card, however, is the RME Hammerfall. I'd check out the Mixtreme first anyway, if I were you.

Best regards,
