i want to know if its worth to grabb that thing and try to restore and invest some kind of money...what do you think?

This would depend on your skills, time, what info is available, what parts are available and how much money your willing to spend? I myself don't think they are that special that I would bother with it.

I just want to improve my Mackie`s pres, don`t you think maybe this thing can do the job, or at least have another sound/color available? :D

in case the channelstrips include micpre, basic eq using (stepped?) faders (if that makes any sense :D ) they prolly are v624 (are there v625 at all?). anyway, haven't heard any of these, but they don't seem to be much sought after if you look at the prices on german ebay. judging after pictures of the innards, doesn't seem to be much in there (maybe op-amp based?), and the xformers are quite small... still they might be an alternative to a mackie. the pre's maybe, but the eq, even if basic, definitely. mackie sharp highs and honky lows... aargh ;)

Sorry I didn't see your reply until today.

Better than the Mackie yes. But in not knowing the condition of the unit, or having any proper documentation, or many other things that would be required to fix or maintain it, I would rather buy something that has a higher reliablility and value to me. I've never thought the Telefunkin mic pre's tube or solid state were that special or had a high desired tone to them that makes them worth what people charge. If I got real one or two very cheap, than I might be interested but I don't find them to be good enough to pay fair market value for them.
