depence on what music U will do with it. I wanted a synth-for-everything, tried the yamaha motif es and the triton xtreme. I found the sounds in the triton a bit "casio" Im sorry about talking this way about a 1900$ thing, but it was my feeling. I suppose I look for more less real instruments, and I think triton does not do that very well. cannot tell much more, haven't listened to the le. But I would encourage U to go to a store, and spend an hour with some earphones. Nobody will tell better than U wich fits U best.
