I am on a tight budget but need some way of running a lot of effects on my tracks. The UAD-1 has been suggested as the best option, however I don't know whether it is worth my $$$ to go ahead and get the studio pack. I think from the website that the project pack will suit my needs just fine. I typically use reverbs, compression, eq and limiters. What do you guys recommend?
Thanks
Ed

OK - with the project pak you will be missing out on 2 pretty great compressor plugs (Fairchild and LA-2a). You will also miss out on the Cambridge EQ, which next to the Pultec is their best EQ and it is also my favourite parametric digital EQ plug. I would at least consider the studio pack - which will get you all of the aforementioned. The only other plugs I would use after that point would be the Plateverb and the Precision Limiter which you can buy a later date.
