I have a 32 channel analog Behringer . I want to connect another recording mixer To the 32 channel. This sub mixer is to be connected to my desktop via usb. Is this possible? I am finding it hard to mono out from my live mixer to use live band and church service for our website because the sound is terrible. I want a separate audio track that is manageable and another channel for video. The video in this concern is irrelevant. Pls help. Mackieprofx 12 ch.

You're trying to do a live mix and a streaming feed at the same time, right? Is the Behringer board the MX3282A?
What exactly do you mean by "finding it hard to mono out from the live mixer?" Do you mean mono rather than stereo or do you mean monitor?
In what way is the sound terrible? Is the mix unbalanced, or is there distortion?
Whew. Yes that is our live board. The mix that is live sounds different when I go from the rca out on the board to the 3.5mm jack input to an audio track on black magic. When I do this There is no option to mix any channels on the computer.

I want to use that mackie as a separate board to “remix” our live sound in a way that would be a “correct” Or better sounding when transferring to the desktop from the mackie.

Here's what I would do:
Mix the band on the Behringer. Use the stereo input for effects returns (reverb etc.). Assign all the input channels to the 7-8 bus and patch that to the Yamaha. That will be your live feed mix. Use headphones on the Yamaha to monitor that mix and balance (on the Behringer) as needed.
Assign the vocals straight to the L-R bus. Set up the PA so those are always loud enough. Assign the drums to the 1-2 bus and turn the bus down as needed (including all the way if appropriate) for the live mix. Put guitar amps or anything else with amps on the 3-4 or 5-6 buses and turn them down if needed. You can even leave inputs not assigned to any mix besides the 7-8 streaming feed if they're simply loud enough on their own. I often do that for snare. Basically, you use the bus assignment to compensate for stage levels. If it's loud on stage, use a bus (instead of a channel fader) to turn it down while leaving it up in the streaming feed on bus 7-8.
Use the Yamaha to control the level of the streaming feed. You could also put a couple of audience mics in the Yamaha to give a bit of a live feel to it.

What Blackmagic unit do you have, an ATEM mini? They are the only models I can think of with a stereo 3.5mm audio input.
It sounds like your complaint with the sound is that the mix is "upside-down" because the RCA outputs mirror the Main Out mix. The quietest sources in the room are amplified most by the mixer, and the loudest sources are barely present and the resulting recording (or webcast) isn't anything at all like what the congregation hears in the room.
Your Behringer mixer has 8 Aux sends. Are they all in use? Using an available Post-EQ, Post-Fader Aux Send you can have your mix follow the fader adjustments and still have the ability to adjust the proportions between sources independently using the Aux settings. That way, you can keep everything on the main mixing console and easily monitor what's going to the webcast through headphones using the Solo or AFL button associated with the Aux. To implement bouldersound's congregation mics in this scenario, just don't assign the room mics into any of the Main/Subgroup outputs.
Your only hurdle using an Aux or Matrix Send will be getting a mono balanced Line Level Aux output, properly adapted to the 3.5mm stereo input of the Black Magic. As much as I like Blackmagic gear, their audio specs are very light on details.
Humm.. I've been reading this everyday.. very good suggestions.

I might have a simple mind but the live mixer has 8 subgroup faders that I'm sure have their own output. Taking those to your other mixer would be very simple to rebalance the mix.
Make your own groups, Exemple : Drums Stereo (1 - 2), Bass 3, Guitars / keyboard Stereo 4 - 5, Back vocals 6 - 7, Lead vocal 8
It would be very handy for live operations and then a you need very isolating headphones (like in-ears) to listen to do the mix on the second mixer...
Or you could invest in a proper digital mixer and do it all in the same unit. Have a complete mix for live and a second one for streaming (with different EQ-Comp etc..)
