I want to use my aw1600 to record directly onto my adobe audition on my pc. Is there any way i can connect my pc to my machine so that each track i want to record goes through the aw1600 first and then directly onto my computer. Basically i'm wondering if the computer can be used to control the aw1600.

Doesn't look like it. The USB out is only for backups. Closest y
Doesn't look like it. The USB out is only for backups. Closest you would get is recording to the AW1600, then backup the tracks to your computer via USB, then import them into Audacity as separate tracks, then do your mixing on your computer in Audacity.
