Hi guys,
Many of you know I like fabfilter a lot and I can't remember a mix on which I didn't use them since I discovered their products.
Now they've done it again with Pro R . A complete reverb solution, very light and great sounding.
Their frequency dependent decay EQ is just mind blowing !

What do you think ?
I think the sound is really good, Marco. That's a great credit to you, and it shows well what the Pro-R can do.
Incidentally, was there a splice of takes between the end of the guitar intro and the vocal entry? It feels as through the tempo changes fractionally at that point.

Reverbs were always a challenge to dial in and get them right for the song. I feel Pro R makes it easier. I'm usually not into long reverbs like in this song. But Richard wanted it to sound close to the original. I'm surprised that I liked it in the end. Having it long like that makes it on display and if it wasn't sounding ok, it would be obvious.
You're right, we didn't use a click since the nylon string sound so soft and I didn' want to risk earing the click via headphones in the recording.
I hadn't notice the speed change. I guess he got excited at this point.
Doing a full multimedia production gives a lot of things to think and be aware of. Since those I do are done in a short time period, it's normal we let minor things slips.
I'm still trying to motivate my friend to do a recording with more instruments.
Thanks for the good words Boswell ;)
