This was my old signal chain:
Computer (Digital Wire) to
Seasound Soloist (Control Room Outs) to
Berige876ger Mixer Channel 13/14 (Sub Mix Out) to
Behe98760876ger Monitors
I removed the Mixer and I now have
Computer (Digital Wire) to
Seasound Soloist (Control Room Outs) to
Behe98760876ger Monitors
I get no audio, and an ungodly hum!
I have no clue now to fix this. Please advise?

It looks like the output from the soloist is probably unbalanced
It looks like the output from the soloist is probably unbalanced.
So the Ring is going to get shorted to ground.
On the other end, the monitors are probably balanced inputs, so that ring (which is now a ground) is going to provide you with a nice healthy hum into your monitors.
To troubleshoot this replace your cable with a regular guitar type cable (TS) That should eliminate the hum.
Or ck the manual to see if any of the other outputs of the soloist are balanced.
Next ck the manual for the monitors to see if they accept both bal and unbal signals. If it's both, you'll be fine, if it's balanced only,(which I doubt) it will still work but the volume will be less.
Forgot to mention the wires used: From Seasound to Monitors: 1/

Is it possible I am using the wrong wire?
