Looking for comments and opinions from anybody who has used LaunchPad, AutoMap or Ableton and there experiences. good, bad etc...
I'm currently using Cubase for all my analog and MIDI track recording and I sort of got interested in the LaunchPad as another MIDI triggering controller?
I already have a Roland keyboard that I can use either analog or MIDI for soft instruments with Kore 2.1 and Komplete 6 (Massive, Battery, Kontakt, Absythn etc). so I'm not looking for additional instruments just really a new way of triggering...
I've seen some LaunchPad's that come with AutoMap and some that come with Ableton Live, but what I don't know (having never used any of these products)...is...are these the same thing as what I'm already doing with Cubase/Kore2 and Komplete and would any of this LaunchPad stuff be redundant?
I think I just want the LaunchPad. but maybe AutoMap and Ableton would be useful or more useful for creating triggering backing tracks etc...but then again maybe there's something even better than LaunchPad?
