I would like to synchronize the parameters of both Samplitude (VU) and the AM | Munition, in order to make both have the same measurement on the same real time.
I tried to change the decay time and peak hold (AM), but the graphics do not reflect the same reading of the audio at runtime.
Does anyone have a tip? I use AM|Muniton for remastering CD projects and I would like to have both graphics synchronized... (n)
Thanks in advance.

Have you checked to see if Kraznet or Tim Dolbear may have an instructional video for this? I know that K did several vids dedicated to just Ammunition ...

I haven't yet watched the entire series that K did on ammunition, I think there's like 5 parts dedicated to ammunition alone, and some of it is pretty deep.
I'd like to think that there would be something in one of these episodes that would explain how to do what you want, but there's no guarantee. Ammunition is great, but it's also fairly complex, and a deep subject.
If you don't find anything in the episodes on youtube, you should go to the Samplitude forum, and 'page" Kraznet in a post; I've done it several times, and he's great about getting back to those people who have these kinds of questions. I've yet to post a question put specifically to his attention were he hasn't gotten back to me. He's always tried to help.

Choose "Samplitude Software Related Topics", (do a search first to make sure your question hasn't already been covered). If you don't get any returns, then simply start a new thread, and title the subject to Kraznet's attention so he sees it; maybe something like "Paging Kraznet, Ammunition Question". My bet is, based on my own past experience with him, that he'll get back to you in pretty short order. ;)
If you do get the answer(s) you are looking for, please let us know what you find out, as this could be valuable information for other Samplitude users here, as well as with people outside of this forum, who may be doing searches on the same topic through Yahoo, Firefox, or Google.

Ok, let me try explain what I did:
1 - It doesn't exist a video tutorial, so I had to test a lot of parameters;
2 - The result was not 100% perfect, but after much patience with multiple audio files, I managed to get to a setting that made me very happy;
3 - First I kept AM|Munition with its default settings;
4 - Then I changed the settings of Samplitude's Peak Meter in this way:
5 - I wanted to synchronize the both Metering - AM & Samplitude - and I got it! Take a look:
That's it! :LOL:

The metering is very important, at least for me, for loudness normalization purposes.
VU Meter is essential especially when the project contains many different sources of music.
Now I can trust the Samp's VU Meter without reading other graphics. It has worked very well; no volume differences between songs.
