Would someone please explain to me how its done?

"best vocal effect ever" is surely a subjective thing to say but.....it's just an autotune effect set with a fast attack. You can do this with Antares Autotune as I discovered tracking my band's CD. Unfortunately it was more an accident for us as my singer was a bit out of tune on most of it. You just have to experiment with it and it helps if the singer can sing out of tune a bit so that the program HAS to correct it. Hope this helps.

Or you could correct the pitch first using Celemony Melodyne 3, then select all vocal notes and raise them by "40cents"
Then you wouldnt have to worry about how you sing it, because you just made the notes off enough in Melodyne so that Autotune will have to correct more of the vocal.

Dont forget to remove some of the Pitch modulation with the Pitch Modulation Tool in Melodyne, because Autotune doesnt like natural vibrato when trying to do the effect.
