Hi all, just discovered this forum. I'm currently doing a project to design a professional recording studio with a budget of £750,000 for the gear. This will be used to record all popular genres as well as classical and film, TV work. Was just interested to see what equipment anyone else would choose with that amount of money!

The "£" symbol say "UK" to me... I'd recommend you call Nikki Melville-Rogers at [[url=http://[/URL]="http://www.kmraudio…"]KMR[/]="http://www.kmraudio…"]KMR[/] outside of London... he's very experienced and exceptionally competent.
Best of luck with it.

re studio
If I were you, with that kind of buget, I would call up a pro audio store that actually talks with you and picks out what you need with out really trying to sell you crap that you can do without. They're are a couple that I know of in the state, there is a place called Sweetwater that actually assigns you your own engineer for helping set up studio's and accustic treatment.
thats what I would do
