Ok. this is going to sound stupid, but where the HELL can I find a decent rollaround for an otari 24tk locator/remote? I cant afford a $2k studer stand heh. but I would prefer to not have something thats "cheap feeling".
I know this isn't the most technical/complex question but ffs ive been looking all over for something reasonable and still havent found a decent solution.
peace!

Just a suggestion,
Angelo mentioned the Quick Lock. We mounted our BRC (I know!) as well as the MCI AL-III on them. The BRC we used the side squeeze brackets that come with it but this would not work with the AL-III so we removed them (the brackets) from the square tube and drilled holes thru the tube then bolted it on using the pre-tapped holes in the AL-III, you can still adjust the tilt and it works very good, not "cheap feeling".
You may be able to do this even if you have to drill holes in your locator  just be careful!!!

Or you live in Flordia, right! Go out in the swamp and cut you down a cypres tree about the size of a large coffee can, take the base off the Q-L and mount the base w/wheels to the square end and do the tilt thing to the other end like the oak or _____ stand. Customize your done!
:D ;)

ROFLMAO! Hey, if the cypress thing was too gay, you could catch an alligator or 6 and wrap the skins around the thing. And then you can put their heads all over the studio. Would probably cut down your delinquent customer ratio as well.
If the quiklok stand looks cheap to you, maybe you do need to spend $2000?
Check out the Quiklok QL-400 or QL-402. here's the other.
