Don't think they will be giving that information out freely.

Besides all modern devices are surfacemount, probably nothing you can solder by hand anyway.

I'm an electronic tech, and surfacemount boards are so dense that a regular soldering iron would desolder nearby components.

At work we have a surfacemount station, it has two video cameras on it for veiwing the work area, otherwise you have to use industrial microscopes.

It´s an analogic issue

You´re right. I would be arruined if the issue with my Tascam was such a digital/board error, but in this case it´s only a few burned up pre-amps.
I think the issue can be fixed, like another comun analogic mixer, so the technician needs only the Service Manual to access the pre-amps section, that is some hard to hit, regarding the number of boards to desassembling.
