This looks very intriguing. I'm also Seeing something else I like and that's a working version for Linux. I think a lot of people would like to get out of this Windows/Macintosh mess? I know I do. But Linux is really not been viable unless you are a computer geek to begin with and I am not. Nevertheless, I've been keeping my eyes on software designed for professional audio and video applications that I want to use available for the Linux platform. This may be a new beginning?
Now we just need the drivers for our hardware and I'm not going to write them myself. That's the other stumbling block LOL.
They're beta testing but they're not letting us beta-test. Damn it all!

i question the skill of average dj's. i live between 2 capitol cities, Providence R.I, Boston MA. the skill level varies around, from scratching real vynal, to playing thru i phones. it's going to need extreme compatibility, w/ devices, and control surfaces. there must be dance sequencing live acts world wide that would be interested, but, it's not gonna be easy. dj's use serato for the most part. live sequencing acts, i have little experience, but ableton obviously comes to mind.
my question for them is what does it do that others don't? what is that magic feature. i feel like any new platform needs to accel at something others don't. since my experience is mostly dealing w/ serato/ableton, i'm very limited. ya know... what is there selling feature?
as a regular live (band) sound mixer, it seems like an art to mix all those samples based on a nameless color coded matrix. i think it's an instrument. gonna be tough to introduce a new platform, all you can do is try to make it easier. if it's like the usual scene, someone will like it, get good, and other's will think the platform is the answer. that stuff is cool tho, it really is interesting how electronic music is mixed. i've become very interested over the last year. it's such a defined, as well as interesting approach to mixing. my 'big name gigs' were just vocals over tracks, but the control of all the elements, i dunno i find it cool. how the elements move, very interesting approach. i dunno i'm still fascinated.

Looks interesting. But, do we need another DAW? I suppose, if there is a market, it will sell.
Edit: just saw that real time audio stretching. Man, if they sold that in a plugin, I'd be all over it. Might be worth looking at. If not as a plugin, at least as another tool.
