Anyone had any experience with this preamp? IYO does it compare well with the Focusrite red amps or other quality pre's? What would be a good "used" price?

I use the Dual Vocal Combo a lot. It has the same mic pres but with the limiter biult in. It is a much better deal cost wise. The mic pre is a little brighter with less bottom IMO than Focusrite. I use the Red and ISA 110. It is not great for kick and bass guitar but is great on some vocalist and really shines on acoustic instruments and for overhead mics. Anything that likes hi-end. I think it is a very good pre that doesn't get much press. I would think used would be around 1k.

Thanks Ernie, I went ahead and got the unit. I picked it up for $800. What other pre's would you suggest for working with Bass and Drums (kick and tom toms). I'm looking for good deep low end performance without loosing the highend snap. Probably a four channel unit. I've been thinking about the Sebatrons because of price, but would I be that much furhter ahead to save my money and get FR Reds? Any other suggestions?

Oh, one more thing. Since you have worked with both, can you give any kind of comparison between the FR Red range and the ISA range?

Thanks
Much
