Hello, i don't have hardly any experience with recording programs but I need to find a program to help me with recording for a class I am taking this semester. I can go to the school and record but I would like to be able to do some of it from my home.
It doesn't have to be high quality so I would like to keep from buying a sound card for my computer. Basically I need to find a program that will let me use VST plugins with my mic I can plug into the motherboard. (like the kind of mic plug on headphones). For my first project I have to make a Auto-Tune parody and I am going be unable to access the media library for a week and I only have a week and a half for the first project. I have tried the schools license of FL but it will not let me record with autotune with a headset mic.
So, does anyone know what program will let me record or live play with VST plugins

Why don't you invest in a digital audio interface and an actual mic? Most interfaces come with free audio editing software, and you will definitely get better results by using an actual recording mic instead of an A-B mic. (Just for getting signal from A to B).
