Alright tekkies and computer nerds! (I'm one myself, but in trouble on this one.)
I have a drive that has been connected to a Mac, files written to it, etc. Now, all of a sudden, it's in Windows_32_fat format and the Mac won't see it as a valid drive. How do I get the files off of it, or return the format to it's previous state?

Well, the truth is that a friend from across town brought the drive to me, and since I couldn't seem to get into it, I posted here. I don't have any info on how it happened. I've actually sent him on down the road to a PC user, in the hopes that he will know what to do.

System specs, history of the drive? Did you try TTP or another disk utility on it? Did you try connecting it to a wintel box?
