I'm trying to create a song entirely out of mellotron-samples, but every time I use the scissor tool on a sample to cut it down, I get a "knit"-sound, like you do on old vinyl records when they're spinning. Does anyone know how to fix this?
There should be an option somewhere to "search zero crossings". Usually this helps eradicate that noise from the cuts. If not, you might have to get out the fade tool and get down to work.
