Hi all,
Looking to get a preamp upgrade from my VoiceMaster Pro. Heard lot'sa great raves about Sebatron , Portico and LA610. Wondering if any one of them is a good investment.
Any comments is greatly appreciated.

I actually just picked up an la610 today. I was totally amazed by its sound the moment i plugged it in. So far I've had the chance to try it on bass Vocals and Acoustic guitar and it sounds incredible on all three.
If you are looking for a clean preamp that doesn't color your sound then you should look at something different. On the plus side..they way this preamp and compressor color your sound is fantastic.
I find it a bit noisy in comparison to other preamps as well ,,but again its still worth it when you hear how sweet the sound is.
if you are not interested in the compressor part and want just the pre... I would suggest you look into the solo610 and save your self some $$$. But I am soooo glad I went for the compressor.
also noticed you are using a 002.....do you plan to run your external preamp into the pres of the 002??? Most people suggest you use the ADAT feature for your external preamp.
