Hello Seb - is it possible to give the VMP range a 1db cut at around 235hz. internally.
I've been listening to some of the demos and, for me. I prefer the Sebatron with this cut.
thanks

Thanks for the info Seb - it's nice to know alterations are possible internally (and have directions on where to make changes) rather than using (buying) an external eq.
Can the VEQC 2000 deal with this area?
I'm looking at purchasing both VMP4000e and VEQC 2000.
Thanks

You could try changing the values around the RC network associated with the deep/low cut switch.Quite possibly changing the resistor ( 180k ) located just after the first voltage gain stage to something less ( like 150k/120k ) will move the bottom register frequencies around... Or try a smaller capacitor in that area ,, instead of .01uf..... also the 68k could be 82k or even 100k to preserve flatness and odour. 8-)
...... or you could change the carpet in your room ...... 8)
