It's a great tool. I prefer it over Ozone. The fact that you can put all your song in a project and compare the hot parts from each song rapidly is a thing I like. I always put a commercial song in the list and compare it to the songs I master.
It might not sound as good as a mastering firm with tons of outboard gear. But for many customer who don't want a pay large amount for the mastering. It gets the job done.
I just wish they add some tape simulator in there..

it's pretty cool, easy a/b ing like pc said. i think ozone is more transparent, and fine-tunable, if you want that. i just have opted for individual plug-insinstead. i use a waves maximizer, and a focusrite ssl emulation. if i'm lucky i get to use a linear phase eq, and some brand name emulations. if not just a regular one for problem things. i'm just a rec/mix guy, but often the people don't have a budget/understanding of what true mastering will do. but all of the above are ok, just gotta know how much punishment to use. i tend to be light on master eq, light- meduim on compression, very light limiting.

i actually like the more transparent units in the t-racks package. especially that red compressor, that thing is pretty cool. the pultec is ok, but i've used 3 differnt emulations, and it's not my fav, it'll do 'air' but crispy air. but that's coming from a partciular metal mix. that package works, and will make stuff louder, or even better, enhanced.

i'm just in a mix-guy-experiment faze wher i've been using individual plug-insas kind of a pseudo mastering chain. and some gentle mix bus processing.

Thanks for reply guys, the reason I'm asking about Tracks is cause IK has the total studio bundle 3 for $249 and I wanna get the whole thing and use it with my DAW and wavelab. But thanks for all of the insights it makes me feel good to have people tell me their opinions with honesty :)
