For the past 6 years ive mixed used just a stereo systems speakers :( Though with DECENT results ...
I ust bought a par of KRK ST6's... I really need to buy an amp. Unfortunatly, i want to stay below $300..
I know there cheap speakers...Is it worth spending a ton on a amp?

Since you've included no budget other than cheap, my suggestion
Since you've included no budget other than cheap, my suggestion is a Crown D 75. I love the sound of Crown amplifiers. But then most any direct coupled output amplifier of a class AB D or G would be fine. You certainly can't afford a Macintosh amplifier. BGW and Peavy would be adequate.
How about a Delco car radio amplifier? he he
