So I guess to start with I go by tuning the heads really loose, then put a mic inside the kick close to the beater for click sound. But then what? A second mic outside the kick infront of the porthole? And then the tricky part, eq. It's very fat sounding so that's probably boosted around 80-100hz and lots of attack around 4k? But then what? Cut all mid between?
