Tell me Donny, what are you going to do with your 1 % of profits?

A) A brand new condo in Florida

B) A Ferrari 458

C) Dave Grohls' Sound City 8028 Neve Console

D) Jimmy Hendrix's Stratocaster from Woodstock

Maybe if they are as good as they say, you could buy all of the above....;)

Lets' face it...they are smart because the've done the math on this...and they use big words like portfoliage:D

Like they say...you should be happy they are willing to work f0r you...and...

- they are willing to sell you an ad on their CD:ROFLMAO:

I tell you what Donny...I'll even offer my services as an AE free of charge if you let me...

A) Stay in your Florida condo rent-free

B) Drive your Ferrari to the studio

C) Track & mix my own stuff through the 8028 during breaks between sessions

D) Play Jimmy's Strat (I'm right-handed, but I'll even practice to play left-handed, and lets face it, anything would sound good through that Neve...) ;)

I think thats' a pretty fair deal...all you have to do is pay my airfare from Australia to the US & cover any expenses incurred during my stay and a small fee of $500 USD per day for sundries (let's face it, it can just come out of your 1 %...think of it as loose change...) and make sure there is an endless supply of booze and hookers (and any miscellaneous party starters...ahem) to prevent me getting too homesick.

Let me know when to book that next available flight.:ROFLMAO:

Well, if Hawk is gonna be the one to control the mass of reporters - who are most certainly going to show up - then Sean can buy the smoke and set the band up in a 5 star hotel, and I can make sure the Newmans and the Tellerfunkers are available, and pay for the studio credit on the album. Perhaps Hawk could also make sure that the catering service arrives on time?

See? It's all coming together now. ;)

A plane...

Don't forget the plane...I'm thinking Bruce Dickinson can hire his out..you know, being in the Rock n' Roll fraternity and all...

Maybe he can pilot it too if he has nothing on for the next 12 months. Maybe he can just swing by and pick me up on the way

I thought a 747 may do the trick, you know, with the size of the bands ego and all :D

I'm not sure about that... this band definitely sounds like they'd be much happier with a Concorde. Nashville to Cleveland in 2 minutes.
Reduces that pesky jet lag, which puts them in better shape to be at their absolute musical best.

Hell... maybe we can even get Pepsi to pay for it... I mean, the worst they can say is "no", right?

Sean G Wed, 07/20/2016 - 06:48

Maybe they meant ephemeral songs...

maybe they are a thrash metal band and nothing lasts longer than 1 min 30 seconds

Concorde...lol...are those things still flying??? - the FAA can't be allowing that now.

{insert Lynyrd Skynyrd joke here...something about the in-flight song being Freebird playing over the speaker system}

Nashville to Cleveland in 2 mins...the flight where the seatbelt light stays on.

Of which, our understanding is greatly increased relative to the amount of grass we smoke or hallucinogenics we ingest.

I know... I've talked to monkeys before. They weren't necessarily real monkeys, but they were real to me. LOL

Lol it was a refrigerator for me. Lmao thing looked like it was breathing.

Leave it to tax-achusetts to let doctors prescribe me medical mj, tax it, and charge fees for the card each year. they're even nice enough to allow the cultivation of it.

I wonder if medical mushrooms or lsd will fly lmaoo. It'd sure let me fly, while seated stationary.

If you guys haven't seen the movie pick of destiny it's funny as heck without any influenceS. But since we're talking about talking monkeys this scene came to mind. Sasquatch @ about 1 min of this clip.

This isn't really a super funny scene, but it's a good movie overall. Ben Stiller as a guitar center worker crushed it.

Wait - I thought Neil Diamond and Sedaka wrote the songs for the Monkees... what are we talking about? :)

Sean G Fri, 07/22/2016 - 10:34

I think at the onset of The Monkees career circa 1965 when they first started out, rumour has it (Disclaimer : I can neither confirm or deny this) that actual Monkeys had more musical talent than the band...

Hence as a man of scientific fact I back this up with actual scientific evidence as presented below.

You be the judge...

I know which one I enjoyed the most... ;)
