Hi. Hopefully someone can help me with this. I made a mixtape using Cool Edit Pro 2. Unfortunately when I started it, I selected 32Khz instead of 44.1.
It's now finished and I've bounced all the tracks down into one big wav but no program will burn it. I've tried all sorts of programs but they all either give errors or freeze up. What's the best way to sort this out without effecting the sound quality? I tried converting the wav using Goldwave but even though I select 44.1 as the output file it always comes out as 48 and still won't burn.
Any help would be greatfully received. Thanks in advance.
Sigma.

in the single one with the mixdown you've done go where it says convert sample type (button number 9 after the undo one, almost in the middle of the screen!)
there you can select!
if you have doubts i'll help

Hi. Thanks for the replies. I actually tried the convert sample type thing and the resulting file had loud clicks and crackles all the way through it. It's really annoying! Do you know if there is any burning software that would burn the files without converting them to 44.1?
Thanks again,
Sigma.

sigma: you can't burn anything onto an audio cd that doesn't have 44.1khz sampling rate, so you're out of luck here...try to get a decent conversion going somehow...maybe use a freeware program such as audigy (haven't tried its sr conversion, though) or something else...
I'm not a Cool Edit guy, but can't you mixdown TO 44.1kHz from 3
