I ordered an ART MPA Gold (I know it isn't great, but it's what I can afford...I'm unemployed) and I got it today. I was all happy putting the thing into my rack and I started testing it out.

The damn needle for the VU on the first channel only jumps half way, won't got passed that point, then sticks at the half way point even after you turn off the unit. You have to tap on the glass to get it to drop back down to zero. I tested the second channel, same settings, works like a dream!

Now the thing that pisses me off is that I have a signed band, my first signed band, coming in on the 12th and I won't have a replacement by then. DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!

I have it out of the rack, boxed up, and ready to go back.
