Hi

I have a nice studio setup at home but not for recording vocals. Its not sound proofed etc etc...

Does anyone know where in London I rent a great sounding room.

I can take my portable G4 Powerbook with Logic pro 7, MOTU 828MKII, pro mic etc and do it all myself with my vocalist and guitarist ?

I dont need any recording studio services, just a good sounding room.
I have looked around but most only have the actual recording and engineering servoces OR rehearsal rooms which are huge. Just a nice small sound proofed room...

help!

I am recording digital based stuff, i.e. synths/plug-ins/DI bass/DI Guitars. Nothing acoustically.

Thanks for answering my question on a good sounding room to record vox 'Mr. last posty person' !!!

For others, I will be hoping to record vocals into the Mac system on location, then taking all that home to mix.

If anyone owns a studio with a nice sweet small vocal room for rent for 4 or 5 hours then let me know asap cheers![/code]

I'd say get out your duvet and give it a go at home!

Thanks to Paul Whites articles in Sound on Sound, my home vocal recordings sound dry, clean and clear. It also saves me a large fortune!
