Compared to what?

Asking 'how good' something is when all it is is a tool in the first place, is not a question that can be answered.

It will depend entirely on the level of expertise of the person operating the tool as well as what its being used for.

I dunno lets compare it to the CAD M9 since this is the one I am testing now. I am recording R&B like vocals, and I wanna know if the RODE will provide that warm like quality that R&B vocals have.

You might read the review of the M9 that at least used to be on this site. The reviewer had reliability issues with the capsule and the adhesives used to secure it in place, causing the capsule to fall out of position and fail. Sure, the factory sent him another mic, but caveats on that. Many of us here have or do own an NT1A. A reliable workhorse of a studio tool, it sounds fine in the right room with the right talent.
