Hi everyone
I'm on the edge of getting into doing some 5.1 mixes of a liveshow for the first time, so I went out and bought some DVD's to hear, how other engineers do it, like what's in center, L+R, surrounds and so on. All I found out was, that everybody does it their own way and there doesen't really seem to be any "rules" or general guidelines (yet).
So I was wondering if someone here has any expirience in 5.1 mixing and would like to share their thoughts on how they think it should be done.
