In the hopes of adding to the community of Digital Performer users I have started the #digitalperformer channel on IRC's Dalnet Servers.

This is completely real time chat and those with a high ranking in the DP community (i.e. those with positions at MOTU, or any other Pro Audio manufacturer) who have extreme knowledge on Digital Performer and the pro audio world in general can private msg me (I am kittonian in the channel as I am on this board) for AOP (auto-Op) status.

I want this to be a place where people not only get a question answered but can freely discuss things about Digital Performer and Pro Audio in general.

For those of you using Windows (which I realize is sort of a long shot since DP is a Mac product) you can download mIRC at http://www.mirc.com and logon to any Dalnet server and simply type in /join #digitalperformer and you'll be part of the discussion.

For those of you using Mac (which will be the majority I believe), you can get IRCle at http://www.ircle.com and type the same command /join #digitalperformer to join the discussion.

This chat will be open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and users are free to hang out in the channel as much as possible.

For those of you who are IRC newbie's the ops as well as the users who are familiar with IRC will be happy to help you get started once you join the channel.

This is absolutely FREE and I am taking care of 100% of the channel administration and upkeep.

I want this to be a good thing so please come in and make this the best place to talk about Digital Performer and pro audio.
