Hi guys,
I'm submitting my latest mix for critique. It is a song I recorded four years ago, did a mix at the time and now decided to make a new mix of it and see how that would go. At first I made the mix brighter, but listening to some reference tracks I decided to cut a lot of the pain frequencies out. Then I lifted the top end slightly in the mastering phase. Still not sure about the overall brightness level. Drums were only four tracks (stereo OH, kick, snare), bass was only a DI and there were plenty of guitar tracks to play with. Had to attach the track in mp3 since the soundcloud link didn't work.
