Well I came home yesterday, eager to continue work on an upcoming show where I'll be sat behind an antique upright instead of the usual computer, and as I saddled up to my trusty Peavey DPM C8 I noticed something odd: It was dead. Uh oh.
I've had this beautiful beast for nearly 15 years and never, not once, has it glitched or sputtered or anything. But now the lCD just flashes quickly when powered on then immediately goes out. I tried another power supply with no luck. It needs an overhaul.
So, if anyone here is a Nashville native or relatively close by, I'd love some recommendations on a good repair shop that could take a look at my controller. Right now I've got my poor Radium 61 in it's spot and it's depressing. If I can't get my DPM C8 fixed I might replace it with one of the new CME 88 key controllers. Those look to be the best option available but I really don't wanna part with my first axe just yet. Hopefully somebody here can give me a name or number to get her fixed.
