Waves' PAZ is pretty good - frequency analyzer, phase, level, etc. Not a full featured spectrum analyzer with multiple FFT options, but still a good reference tool.

How about ID's AD-1? Have a look on the intdevices.com site. I've seen it running and it looks pretty good to me.

It's not VST but maybe worth a look anyway.
