Hey Everyone, when you've got some free time (how's right now? lol) and feel like listening to my work check out:

Keep On and Clarity are especially good. I wouldn't complain if you checked all the songs out though. There aren't many.

Thanks in advance and let me know what you think. I'm looking for some good criticisms.

Chuck, I really like the sounds of the drums, but the Hihat maybe needs to be eq'd a little bit. Mybe it is the way the mp3 were created. Again, I would create some space between the Hihat and the guitars because they seem to be battling for the same space.

I like the feel of the songs as well. The only other thing I would do is maybe beef up the background vox- bring them to the front alo little more, make them and the main vocals a little cleaner as well.

Have you ever used metronome?:)
especially drummer:)

That's strange you say that, because I used a click track for all these songs when I recorded them. I don't think it's completely beat for beat solid but I didn't want it to sound like some tempo robots. Also, some of the songs actually have small tempo changes from verse to chorus..that's the way the band intended it. Does it actually sound that off?

Thanks for the suggestions! Regarding the hi-hat..I didn't put a seperate mic on the hat, it was just a stereo OH. Do you suggest playing with the OH's to fix the hi-hat?

I share your ideas about the vocals..the main vox sound almost muffled in places. I need to go back and sort that out.

Finally, about the guitars. You suggested creating some space between the guitars and hi-hats. Do you have any ideas? I'll tell you what I did with the guitars first of all. There are two guitars, individually panned about 90 left and 90 right. I then sent each to a seperate aux channel and added a low pass filter and panned it to the opposite side that the main track was on. So original guitar 1 is 90 left, and the low pass is 90 right. And vice versa for guitar 2. I don't remember exactly what frequency I used..I'll check later. My OH's are panned hard left and right. Snare down the middle. Anything you can suggest to seperate the gtrs and hats?
