does anyone know if you can use a re-writeable CD (CD-RW) for creating audio CD's? when i'm working on a mix i like to check it on several different systems. it seems like a waste however to sacrifice a complete CD for a single tune each time i want to do this. is it possible to use CD-RW media to create an audio CD that is readable by a consumer CD player? and then can I re-record on the CD several times so I don't keep making "one-offs" each time I want to check my mix on another system?
also, if this is possible, i assume the CD burning software needs to support this feature? does anyone know if Steinberg Wavelab supports this (or any other tool available on the Win. platform)?
thanks,

You can burn audio on CDRW's with any software..especially wavelab...whether your consumer CD player will read it is another issue..most will not..it will confuse the player and make it spin over and over and over and over...I've heard it could possibly damage the laser reader..
