I am looking for suggestions for a digital input device for recording into my Mac/Garage Band.

I am currently using a Tascam US-122, and it works very well. Now that I have GB2 I can record up to 8 tracks at simultaniously. The US-122 affords me the ability to record two seperate track.

What I am looking for is something that allows for 4 mic inputs so that I can record my drum kit with four mic.s. I have found the PreSonus Firepod which has eight mic inputs, and that is nice for $600. My US-122 cost me $160.

Is there anything in between that any of you can suggest?
