Hey everybody. I just wanted to say "HI". I have so much enjoyed this website, and getting to know more about the music industry. As an update to those of you I've talked to, I'm still helping my friend locate the financing for his new studio. I spent the day with him today and I got to see what he does for a living. I listened to a CD that he just produced. and I was so totally amazed at the technology available today for recording studios.

I was asked to listen to certain songs very carefully -- to block out the words -- and to concentrate on how many instruments I thought were used to create the songs. I had trouble keeping count. and was in shock when my friend told me that it was made with one piece of equipment. How awesome is that!

After spending the day with him, watching him at work, I have so much appreciation and respect for each and every man and woman in the music industry. I just wanted to share that with you.

We have found a couple different avenues to go down, regarding funding sources for the studio. We are very excited about some of the grants that we're applying for in 2005.

I will keep you updated as to the progress, and I will share anything/everything that I feel may be beneficial to others trying to do the same thing.
