Dear Youn gace, if you look at your mixer carefully you'll see 4 RCA red and white connectors? One says " to tape" the other says " from tape". You will connect the " to tape" RCA connectors to the main line input on your sound card. You will then take the main line output from your sound card and return that to the RCA " from tape" to your mixer. The mixers " main out" is probably more applicable to the use of a PA amplifier? It can also be utilized to feed your sound card but with this particular mixers on board tape input and tape output capabilities, use those instead.
As stated earlier, this is with the assumption that you are talking about the 1/8" TRS mini phone plugs on your crappy soundcard? Those are commonly available adapter cords from Radio Shaft and/or your local music store.
No on to how to listen to your mixer while it is interfaced to your computer. The mixer features a " control room output" or "CTRL output". Those outputs get plugged in to your control room monitor amplifier input or into your self powered monitor speaker inputs. Looking at the unit it also appears that the control room output is also for the headphone output, so there is a slight compromise there. When tracking, you may need to switch off your control room monitor amplifier so as not to cause any feedback while you have your headphones on? Conversely, if you have your headphones on in your speakers on your headphone volume level may not match your speaker volume level so you will either have to adjust the amplifiers front panel volume controls or if it has no volume controls, you may find that the perceptible headphone level does not match the speaker level at the same settings. That's the compromise. Let's face it, you did not spend $50,000 for this mixer so it does not have all of the included features a $50,000 console would have. What you have is an imitation Havana cigar made in Costa Rica. It smells like a cigar but sure doesn't smoke like one!

Get an RCA to 1/8" cable. Plug the RCA ends into the "Tape Out L/R" on the Behringer Mixer and the 1/8" jack into the "Line In" on the computer soundcard.
