I think i have made up my mind of my next recording interface...

I am gonna go with a Pro Tools set up, starting with a brand new macbook pro, (one with 2 gigs of RAM), A DIGI003 Rack, and an external HD dedicated to recording. I am going to start with these things and eventually get more gear when I have the funds.

I plan on renting mics and an 8 channel preamp for recording drums, eventually purchasing them in the future.

Just wanted to get some professional opinions on this set up and if there is anything else I should consider? Thanks
