Nobody is going to necessarily provide you with any snare drum sounds here. Sample snare drums are plentiful all over the Internet. And if you don't like the snare drum sound you are currently getting, it might just be how you're using it? Sure, I recorded some really awful sounding snare drums. Good snare drums with good heads and proper tuning cost hundreds of dollars. And all that's necessary to record that expensive beautiful sounding snare drum is a Shure SM57. And since so many people are into sampling, you could probably hijack a snare drum off of somebody else's recording. Not what I would do but for a home recording enthusiast, go for it. And that's what software is for, getting samples and using them. I must say though, I really haven't heard any sample snare drums I don't like. So, once you figure out how to post a properly, I'd be happy to give you some suggestions.

first of all i have an electronic kit like i said so It would be kind of hard to record an electronic kit with an sm57 ahahaha. My problem is that I can't find a good snare sound on my kit so I want someone to send me an actaul snare not a "fake" sound. Thanks

salamichrist, I'm a little confused here? Are you actually Blink 182? You're under contract with Geffen records? And you purchased an electronic drum kit and didn't like the sound of the snare? Why did you purchase a kit that you did not like the sound of your most used drum? Have you considered selling that kit and purchasing another kit? Have you looked into other sample libraries rather than trying to get somebody to send you a snare drums sound? I've recorded lots of good snare drums. Why not just take a real snare drum, record it and make your own sample? You do have a computer don't you? Otherwise how would you be here? We're not here to pass out free samples and software we're here to give you advice. Why not do a Google search? And it's totally possible to record electronic drum kit with an SM57, if your electronic drums are plugged into an amplifier. HAHAHAHA, I've done it. Guess you haven't? Try it, you might like it? Time to stop by your local music store that has sample libraries available for you. Maybe you should pick up a book about recording also? Maybe a couple of recording trade publication magazines too? I think most drums sound fake on recordings. We're here to make it sound like fake drums because real drums don't sound like they do on recordings. So fake is a relative term. Fake to you may not be fake for somebody else. And you posted no samples or other than Blink 182 and if you are Blink 182, 12 just ask Geffen records to supply you with a new snare drum sound? After all they're here to make money on you. Or perhaps you're just not articulate enough to express things clearly? Maybe English is not your first language? Maybe you're drum sound fake because your technique in playing them and manipulating them in your recordings is fake, i.e. you have no engineering technique to make your fake snare drum sound good? I just don't understand how somebody can purchase and instrument that they don't like? Unless you got your drum set for $50? Which is what I suspect?
