So I am borrowing an Archos Jukebox Recorder 20 from a buddy. He just uses it for mp3's and some file storage but I want more! it has recording capabilities, but when recording the audio is nasty (self noise from the unit) and it only has a line in... Any suggestions on a portable hard disk recording unit that has decent audio inputs. I like the usb 2.0 and wouldn't use the unit just for audio. I would be using it for field recording and backup storage, as well as mp3 playback. any advice would be appreciated...
